ABOUT
The Blush & Brushes Mixer, produced by Singrid Thompson and iMakeUpMe, LLC  was launched in Spring 2014 as an answer to the call for a beauty industry event that focused on the needs of the local makeup industry.

With fashion and beauty becoming more mainstream and the growing demand for both products in all markets; consumers needed a resource that would empower them to embrace who they are yet introduce them to new ways of accentuating their beauty. Stylists and retailers needed a resource that would help them become profitable within the current marketplace, while manufacturers needed an outlet that would effectively reach these buyers.

We provide the bridge between makeup, hair and fashion stylists, media, exhibitors and entrepreneurs in the beauty, fashion and style industry. Blush & Brushes strives to produce an upscale quality event with the overall goal to bring more awareness and economic growth to our local style industry.  

This year, we have chosen to include a male audience to explore topics and trends in the make up industry via a panel discussion. Our panelist represent a broad range of professional demographics, from beauty industry experts, arts and entertainment, to government officials and business executives.

As part of our commitment to the West Alabama area economy, our marketing strategy involves collaboration with local businesses and consultants to create new sales and networking opportunities.
